Complaints

We want to know if something's gone wrong, so we can put it right and stop it happening again. Here's how.

1. Talk to us first

Most things can be sorted quickly in the pharmacy or over the phone. Ask to speak to the pharmacist on duty, or call us on 01254 399898. We're open Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 10:30pm. Sunday, 12 noon to 10:30pm.

2. Put it in writing

If you'd rather write to us, or the problem hasn't been sorted, email or write to us at 300 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington, BB5 3JD, for the attention of the Superintendent Pharmacist, . You can also hand a letter in at the counter. Tell us what happened, when, and what you'd like us to do, with your order reference if it's about an order.

We'll acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to give you a full answer within 20 working days. If it's going to take longer, we'll tell you why and when to expect it.

3. Take it further

If you're not happy with our answer, you can raise a concern with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), which regulates pharmacies.

If your complaint is about an NHS service, such as an NHS prescription, Pharmacy First or an NHS flu jab, you can complain to NHS England instead of us, or go to them if you're not happy with our answer. After that you can ask the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman to look at it. See how to complain to the NHS.

For help making an NHS complaint, your local Healthwatch can point you to a free, independent NHS complaints advocacy service.
