When your order is confirmed

Placing an order isn't the same as us confirming it. We confirm an order once we've checked it, and a pharmacist approves any pharmacy medicine in it first. Track your order shows Received until we have, and Confirmed once we have.

The times on this page run from a confirmed order. Click & Collect is ready within 2 hours of it, during opening hours. Delivery goes out the day the checkout shows you, once the order is confirmed.

Collecting your order

Choose Click & Collect at checkout. We'll pick and check your order, and the order page shows when it's ready. Come to the counter during opening hours with your order reference (it starts OWP-). If you've paid online, there's nothing more to pay.

If someone else is collecting for you, give them your order reference and your name. A pharmacist may want a quick word before handing over a pharmacy medicine.

We keep orders for 14 days. After that the items go back on our shelves, and if you paid online we'll refund you. If you can't make it in time, call us on 01254 399898 and we'll see what we can do.

Delivery

Choose Delivery at checkout and enter your postcode: the checkout tells you straight away if we deliver to you. We deliver during opening hours.

Same-day delivery is for Oswaldtwistle only. If you live in Oswaldtwistle and place your order before 1pm, it is delivered the same day. Every other order is delivered the next delivery day. That means an Oswaldtwistle order placed after 1pm, and every order for anywhere else we deliver to, whatever time you place it. The checkout shows which day applies to your postcode before you pay.

Sundays. We don’t deliver on Sundays, so an order that would come on a Sunday is delivered on the Monday. That means an order for anywhere other than Oswaldtwistle, or placed in Oswaldtwistle after 1pm, on a Saturday is delivered on the Monday, and so is anything ordered on a Sunday. The checkout shows the day, and Track your order shows it too.

If your order has a pharmacy medicine in it, a pharmacist has to approve it first (see below), so it is delivered once they have. Items that aren't in stock are delivered once they are.

Delivery costs £2.99. It's free when the general items in your basket come to £30.00 or more. Pharmacy medicines don't count towards that total.

We only deliver locally for now. We don't post orders anywhere else in the UK yet.

Pharmacy medicines

Anything marked "Pharmacy medicine" needs a pharmacist's approval before it can be collected or sent out. They'll look at the answers to your health check and may call you first. If they decide it isn't suitable, we'll explain why, take it off your order and refund it if you've paid.

Because of this, an order with a pharmacy medicine in it can take a little longer to be ready.

If you're not in

Someone needs to be in to take the delivery. We don't leave medicines on a doorstep or in a safe place. If nobody's in, we'll try to contact you and either try again or take your order back to the pharmacy, where you can collect it.

Damaged, missing or wrong items

Please check your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as you can and we'll replace it or refund you. You can call us, come in, or use the form on our returns page.
